Randy would be 39 today. My birthday memory of Randy is "Randy wrap." Every year I got a candy bar wrapped tightly in a brown bag. And so we called it "Randy wrap." Happy birthday Randy.

October 9. It came up on my calendar just like it always does. Randy and I would sometimes go for long stretches without getting a hold of each other, but I always called him on his birthday. Wish I could today.
I think "Randy-wrap" has entered our family's vernacular. It was such a trademark of his.
